In June this year, Huawei launched a new series of Mateview high-end display products.
Open the box to find accessories, we have a USB Type-C – Type-C cable to connect to a laptop, Display Port and Type-C – Type-A to connect to a desktop computer and a Type-C port power supply.
Installation of the screen is quite quick because the leg has only one part, attached to the screen with a lever so there is no need to use a screwdriver.
Mateview GT Sound Edition’s connection ports are located at the bottom of the back, including a 3.5mm port to plug in headphones (get sound from the computer), USB Type-C, Display Port…
… Type-C power port and 2 more HDMI ports.
We have a plastic piece to cover these ports after `plugging and unplugging` is complete, with built-in magnets for one-handed operation.
To control the screen’s features, we have a small Joystick on the bottom edge similar to screens from LG, much more convenient than the previous multi-button system.
The most special feature of Mateview GT Sound Edition is this component: a sound-bar integrated into the base.
The sound-bar has an LED strip and also a touch strip to control the volume, quite modern!
The sound-bar has two 5W speakers on both sides to create a stereo effect.
But the most important feature of a monitor is still… the screen!
Like other new generation screens, the edges of Mateview GT are thin, creating an airy feeling and the image seems to overflow into the surrounding space.
The panel used has a curvature of 1500R.
Some other features announced by the company about the panel include 90% DCI-P3 color coverage, 100% sRGB, color accuracy ΔE < 2 and TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection.
Currently, Huawei has just announced the price of this product is 14.9 million VND.
